As architects and urban designers we have an important role to play designing with environmental considerations at the forefront of our practice. We strive to design neighborhoods which encourage low impact living, and buildings which incorporate sustainable construction practices, offer healthy work and living environments, and maintain long-term energy efficiency.

COLAB’s interdisciplinary approach is critical to the development of meaningful sustainable design. We view a broad range of sustainability strategies with an economic analysis component that takes into consideration initial cost, pay-back period, available funding and grant resources and environmental benefits. Our design process allows us to develop integrated solutions which simultaneously consider innovative technologies, transportation, energy sources, landscape, civil engineering, water management, life-cycle analysis, day lighting and environmental engineering. Over 65% or our design staff is comprised of LEED accredited professionals whose expertise guides every stage of the design process.
