Block 177: Portland, OR

A full city block development situated between a dense commercial/retail area and an existing single-family residential neighborhood. The project was divided into four phases of roughhouse type IV construction and culminated in a 21-unit condominium building anchoring the block. The design effectively creates a sensitive transition between the differing neighbors.
