COLAB Office: Portland, OR

Located in the Commonwealth building designed by Pietro Belluschi, solid and transparent forms are carefully inserted, maintaining the clarity of the historic architecture. The open conference room and transparent glass symbolize and support the company’s collaborative philosophy.  The conference room, which is used for intra-office and client meetings, maintains little visual separation from both the reception desk and the rest of the studio.  Prospective clients view the company’s completed work within the context of its creation breaking down the barriers between design, designers and clients.
