The Cook Street Houses are comprised of 3 residential units designed on a challenging, sloped and triangular shaped site in North Portland. The neighborhood is close to downtown with views to the Fremont Bridge and adjacent to Interstate 5. The building echoes the industrial character of its environment and offers an affordable housing / workspace option with a style that reflects the emerging culture and energy of nearby Mississippi Avenue. The project was completed for $115 / square foot.
