Oregon College of Art and Craft: Portland, OR
COLAB Architecture and Urban Design is working with Charles Rose Architects of Boston to provide designs for the first building phase of OCAC’s master plan. The first phase includes a 16,000sf studio and photographic arts building, a 10,000sf Metal Arts Studio building and a 7,000sf campus library. The new buildings will complement the college’s existing structures by celebrated Pacific Northwest architect, John Storrs, by using regional craft and materials in a contemporary manner. The buildings will reflect the latest technologies and approaches to studio arts education while delivering a minimum of a LEED silver Certification.
